It's a terrible feeling, getting left out of things. I'm too shy, awkward and anxious to get invited to things.. and even though I've never been too interested in D&D before, something about everyone being involved has made it especially painful.

I'm writing this now with tears in my eyes, struggling to get through my homework as a group of people next door are going through their third D&D session.

I'm not someone who is remembered easily. My name fades off someone's tongue, mask clenched in hand but no recollection of whose it was.

Books gathered, then abandoned without a second thought.
